With exceptionally sound quality this cordless telephone can be used up to 50m indoor from the base station and up to 300m outdoors. For anyone with access to the Broadband or ISDN, this telephone allows them to make high quality Internet voice calls all over the world, either for free or at a cost lower than any other service provider. All this without the need to be tethered to your P.C.
The telephone is connected to a normal telephone socket and a USB port on a PC. The display shows whether the user’s friends who also use Skype are online. If they are online the user simply has to press the appropriate green button and talk to them for free – no matter where they are in the world.
If the PC is switched off, or the users wants to call someone who doesn’t use Skype he or she simply needs to press the other green button and call via the standard telephone connection
Even if you are not yet Skype user, the handset will function extremely well as an ordinary cordless telephone. A user can enter up to 160 numbers in the internal phone book and select one of those, or scroll through the last 30 received calls in the log or last 30 outgoing calls in the redial list and dial one of those
Three additional handsets can be registered to the unit's base station, giving this remarkable telephone a very useful intercom and call transfer facility.
