The engin Voice Box Series 2 is a Sipura SPA-3000 analogue telephone adapter preconfigured (and locked) to the engin VoIP service.

This unit is also known as the Voice Box Series 2. It connects to both your telephone and your existing landline, allowing you to receive calls on your traditional landline, and make calls on engin, all from the same telephone. Additionally, if the power fails or your Internet connection goes down, the adapter automatically reverts to making calls on your normal landline.

In addition to all the standard engin features, the Voice Box Series 2 has some added benefits due it being connected to both the Internet and your landline service at the same time.
* Receive calls on your engin number and your landline on the same telephone.
* All outbound calls are automatically made using engin, meaning you save money without even thinking about it!
* If you have a power blackout or your Internet service goes down, the Series 2 Voice Box automatically switches back to making all your calls using your landline. So even when there are problems, you can still maek phone calls.
* Make phone calls using your engin service even when away from your Voice Box! Simply dial the phone number of the landline connected to the Voice Box Series 2, and get a second dial tone onto which you can dial out and get the same great engin rates. For example, use free-time on your mobile to dial your home landline which is connected to a Voice Box Series 2, if you have caller ID on your home line the Voice Box can automatically authenticate you and provide you with a dial tone through which you can make a call anywhere in the world at the great engin phone rates (if you do not have caller ID on your home line, you will be asked for a PIN before you can make an outside call).
